変革の軌跡～NECが歩んだ125年 第13回 スパコン世界一になった地球シミュレータと、未来へ駆ける量子コンピュータ NECのコンピュータ技術を象徴する取り組みのひとつに、スーパーコンピュータがある。NECは、1978年6月に、科学技術庁航空宇宙技術研究所の計算センターから、数値風洞シミュレータ用コンピュータの共同開発を打診されたのをきっかけに、スーパーコンピュータの開発に着手した。
