地方自治体のDXを加速させるLGWAN対応生成AI「サテライトAI・AIボード for LGWAN」 ChatGPTやGemini といった生成AIは、今や多くの人にとって身近なものになっている。生活の中で便利に使っている人が増えているのはもちろん、仕事の上での大切な相棒になっている人も多いだろう。しかし企業向けにチューニングされた生成AIサービスでも気軽には利用できない環境がある。そのひとつとして挙げられるのが、地方自治体を中心とする地方公共団体だ。総合行政ネットワークであるLGWANはインターネットと分離されていることでセキュリティを保っているが、生成AIサービスは基本的にインターネット接続を前提としている。生成AIを利用するためにインターネット接続できる端末を利用する、必要な文章をコピーできず目視で入力し直すといった使い方では、作業効率が大きく低下してしまう。さらに、ルールを設けて導入したとしても使いづらさから普及しない可能性も高い。地方自治体が現在求めているのは、LGWAN環境でも利用可能で、生成AIを活用した業務効率化をセキュアに実現できるサービスだ。その要求に応えられるものとして、サテライトオフィスでは「サテライトAI・AIボード for LGWAN」を用意している。
