次世代データセンターに求められる高効率の冷却技術を支える「液浸冷却液」についてENEOSに聞いた サーバーの発熱量やデータセンターの電力消費が急激に増加し、省エネルギーなサーバー冷却技術がデータセンター運用の重要課題となる中、注目されているのが「液浸冷却」と呼ばれる冷却方式だ。この液浸冷却で利用する冷却液の開発・販売を行っているENEOSに、液浸冷却のメリット、想定される利用場面、現状の課題などについて聞いた。
