Microsoftは、従業員全体の約2.1％に当たる約4800人の人員削減を発表した。削減は法人向けの部門とXboxゲーム部門が中心となる。業務のAI化による直接の置き換えではないとしつつ、インフラ変化への対応と組織効率化を進める。Xbox部門では2027会計年度中に計3200人を削減する方針。
