Windows Latestは8月24日(現地時間)、Microsoftが2024年ごろに開発していた未公開OS「Aion」に関する流出動画や内部資料を詳しく紹介した。Aionは従来のWindowsとは異なり、スタートメニューやデスクトップ、通常のタスクバーを前面に置かず、Copilotを中心に据えたOSだったとされる。人々の自己表現や娯楽、学習、日常生活までCopilotを介して支援する構想で、Microsoftが描いていた「AI中心のOS」の姿が見えてくる。
