三菱自動車工業、東日本三菱自動車販売、東京都新島村、東京電力パワーグリッドは10月13日、新島・式根島でEV(電気自動車)を活用した地域レジリエンス強化の取り組みを11月から開始すると発表した。島内で利用されているEVのデータを分析し、経済性や利便性、防災面での価値を可視化することで、離島でのEV活用の可能性を検証する。
