5Gネットワークには、「SA(スタンドアローン)」と「NSA(ノン・スタンドアローン)」の2系統が存在します。前者は5G専用の機器だけで構成されている(5Gネットワークとして独立)のに対し、後者は1世代前の4Gのコア装置と5Gの基地局を組み合わせる(5Gネットワークとして非独立)という違いがあり、前者のほうが5Gならではの通信性能を発揮できます。
