Mozillaは2026年4月21日（米国時間）、AIを活用してFirefoxの脆弱性を大規模に検出・修正したと発表した。試験段階のAnthropicの新モデル「Mythos」を用いた解析により、最新版では271件の問題が一度に特定されている。なぜこれほど多くの脆弱性が見つかったのか、AIはどこまでコードの欠陥を見抜けるのか。従来は攻撃側が優位とされてきたソフトウェアセキュリティの構図に、変化の兆しが見え始めている。
