Fedoraベースか、Microsoftが汎用Linuxディストリビューション「Azure Linux 4.0」を発表 It's F.O.S.S.は2026年5月19日(現地時間)、5月18日から20日にかけて開催された「Open Source Summit North America」の注目される発表内容を伝えた。このサミットではKubernetesオープンソースプロジェクト共同創設者兼Microsoftの技術フェロー／Azureクラウドネイティブ担当コーポレートバイスプレジデントを務めるBrendan Burns氏が基調講演を行った。この講演の中で同氏は新しいLinuxディストリビューションのリリースおよびエージェント型AIツールなどを発表したという。
