司法省は、TikTokの児童プライバシーを巡る訴訟で、TikTok側が総額4億ドルを支払うことで和解したと発表した。13歳未満の個人情報収集や保護者同意を巡る申し立てを受けたもので、COPPA関連では過去最大規模の和解となる。所有構造の変更や若年層の保護機能強化などを踏まえ合意に至った。
