知って納得、ケータイ業界の"なぜ" 第229回 折り畳みiPhoneにも搭載、「A20 Pro」でオンデバイスAIにこだわるアップルの懸念点 米国時間の2026年9月9日に新製品発表イベントを開催した米アップル。同社初となる折り畳みスマートフォン「iPhone Duo」が大きな注目を集めたが、発表では「Siri AI」などAI関連機能にも重きを置き、AI関連処理を強化したチップセット「A20 Pro」を開発するなど、プライバシー重視でデバイス上のAI処理に注力する姿勢を見せていた。ただそのことで、今後アップル自身が苦しむ可能性も否定できない。
