ヒューマノイドを巡る競争では、TeslaやFigure AI、中国勢などが巨額投資を武器に開発を加速している。こうした状況を見ると、「日本企業は出遅れた」と感じる人も多いかもしれない。しかし西脇氏は、その見方自体が誤りだと指摘する。重要なのは完成体競争ではない。フィジカルAIあるいはヒューマノイドのエコシステムのどこで価値を握るかだ。
