Samsung Electronicsの2026年第3四半期(7～9月期)は、AI向けメモリ需要の拡大を背景に、半導体事業を担うデバイスソリューション(DS)部門の売上高が前年同期比4.4倍の147兆1000億ウォン、営業利益が同15.2倍の106兆5000億ウォンとなり、過去最高を更新した。HBM4やサーバ向けDRAM、SSDの販売が拡大し、DS部門が全社営業利益の約99％を創出。Samsung全体の売上高も同2.3倍の195兆3000億ウォン、営業利益は同8.8倍の107兆4000億ウォンとなり、いずれも過去最高となった。
